One of the most important points of the hotel is the historic castle located in the middle of the hotel. The name of the castle is 'Kadıkale' from where the hotel got its name. This old castle is one of the most important monuments on the Bodrum peninsula. Kadıkale is registered as a historical monument of the first degree by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During archeological excavations, the walls and stones of the castle showed that they belong to the late Hellenistic period and the early Roman period. The most famous judge lived in this castle in the early 20th century.
