Description
By cleaning surfaces or objects we mean the mechanical or manual removal of dirt from them. For cleaning, water and detergents diluted in the right quantity are used according to the instructions given by the detergent manufacturer.
By sanitation we mean the method by which, through the use of detergents, the number of bacteria present on objects and surfaces is reduced, thus maintaining hygienic levels of safety on objects and surfaces.
Cleaning operations include:

washing with water and detergent
abundant rinse
The rinsing process is fundamental: in fact, water and soap are not sufficient for the removal of bacteria, but must always be combined with an abundant rinsing action.
Cleaning products
The products needed for cleaning are surface and floor detergents, abrasive creams for sanitary ware and descalers. Bleach can also be used for the eventual disinfection of particular points such as toilets.
